My name is Barbara Williams and I am a lifestyle/documentary photographer.

I have lived in two of the most amazing places I can imagine...I grew up in the Italian part of Switzerland until 16, then followed my mom on her adventure to America...settling in beautiful Sarasota, Florida for 23 years!

Feeling homesick after all these years, and missing the simplicity of the Swiss lifestyle my family and I made the big decision to start a new chapter back in Ticino and we are now happy to call Lugano our hometown.

  

Photography was all around me in my childhood as both my parents as well as my grandma enjoyed taking pictures, and from my early teens I always had a camera with me...from disposable ones all the way to my Nikon today. 

Even though I enjoy capturing anything, my passion is definitely photographing people...whether on big days and events or in their simple daily lives.  My style is very candid and no matter the setting or situation I always love trying to find the perfect artistic angle, the perfect light and the most amazing moments of interaction.

I am based in Lugano and I'm available throughout Switzerland and Europe.
